Magazine about culture and social science which endeavours to adopt a broad horizon, as universal as the very events and ideas about which it proposes to reflect and debate. The content of the magazine is centred around a main theme which is treated from distinct angles: economical, sociological, psychological, ecological... At the same time, the magazine has space to include other articles about social analysis, notes, surveys, etc, that combine this interdisciplinary focus with prófessionalism and readability. The magazine originated as a venture in Asturias (Spain), but with a marked internationa calling that led to exchange agreements with a number of European and American publications. These agreements have given rise to contributions in Abaco from prestigious experts in social sciences. The magazine comes out quarterly and there are already more than 20 issues published, in which we have reflected upon and debated subjects such as: The City and The Future, Crisis and Reindustuialisation, Europe Since the Revolution, Industrial Archaeology, Ecodevelopment, among others.
